A Stylistic Analysis of Phonological Poetic Devices in Selected Poems of Abba Gana Shettima

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive stylistic analysis of phonological poetic devices employed in selected poems by Abba Gana Shettima, a prominent and contemporary African poet. Drawing upon the theoretical frameworks of stylistics and phonology, the study explores the intricate interplay between sound patterns and poetic meaning in Shettima's works.
