L’émigration ; Chez Ceux qui Restent : Une Etude Sociocritique de deux Œuvres de Fatou Diome

Le phénomène de l’émigration est devenu un nouveau sujet de recherche dans la littérature négro-africaine. Fatou Diome appartient à cette nouvelle génération d'écrivains. Elle écrit sur la migration et ses effets sur la société. Dans les deux romans de Diome : Celles qui attendent (2010) et Le Ventre de l’Atlantique (2003), il est évident que la migration n'affecte pas seulement ceux qui partent, mais a également des effets sur ceux qui restent et sur la société. Cette étude examine l'immigration du point de vue de ceux qui restent en appuyant la théorie sociocritique.

Abstract
The phenomenon of immigration has become a new subject of research in African literature. Fatou Diome belongs to this new generation of writers. She writes about migration and its effects on society. In Diome's two novels: Celles qui attendent (2010) and Le Ventre de l'Atlantique (2003), it is evident that migration does not only affect those who leave, but also has effects on those who stay and on society. This study examines immigration from the point of view of those who remain by supporting sociocritical theory.
